German must be your native language. Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge in other languages is an additional qualification.
What you can expect at Meltwater News
The training methodology of Meltwater News has a strong emphasis on sales. In the first three to nine months you will learn how to deal with customers. You will learn to present Meltwater's services to executives of all industries. You will learn how to successfully negotiate with managers, how to acquire and develop customers. This learning experience is imperative for setting a base for your management career at Meltwater because sales is the most crucial aspect of any business. It is where the results are created that translate into the growth of the organization.
After successfully completing the sales training you will get the opportunity to assume responsibility for a team. Once you have developed your leadership skills - ideally after approximately one year at Meltwater - we will encourage you to join the Managing Director level at Meltwater News. You will be able to run business units with full responsibility for results and staff. This can be in Switzerland, Germany, Austria or anywhere in the world. Strong managers are always needed.
