Fake e-mails in name of official institutions of Ukraine

Повідомлення Info »

‼️ Dear friends, please note that
the National Bank of Ukraine has detected some more of the fraudulent emails in which the NBU allegedly asks to donate money to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
☝️ Note that scammers provide a link to a crypto wallet for transferring funds.
If you try to answer such an email, you will see the email address with the @bank.gov.ua domain.
We have identified two fake addresses so far:
helpukraine@bank.gov.ua and helpukrainearmy@bank.gov.ua
⚠️ We would like to stress once again that
the National Bank of Ukraine
🔺 DOES NOT send e-mails to people, NOR does it send e-mails to people with a request to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine
🔺 DOES NOT raise money into crypto wallets.
If you get such a letter, just delete it.
ℹ️ All information on financial assistance to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and for humanitarian purposes is published EXCLUSIVELY through the NBU’s official channels, on the official website and the NBU’s pages in social networks.👇

➡️ Funds are accumulated in the multi-currency accounts the NBU has opened to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and help victims of russian aggression.
These multi-currency accounts can be used to receive donations both from Ukraine and from abroad.
❗However, no crypto wallets have been opened by the NBU whatsoever.
Please be aware of cyber hygiene and trust only the verified information from official sources!
